Which safety razor should I choose?
For your first safety razor, we recommend the Pink Woolf CC87 Closed Comb. It is also our everyday option for customers who prefer a closed-comb design.
Choose the Pink Woolf OC70 Open Comb when you already have experience with safety-razor technique and prefer an open-comb head. It is an option to consider for heavier beard growth and a more hands-on shaving routine.
Open comb is not automatically better than closed comb. Choose according to your experience, beard and preferred shaving feel.
Which blades fit these razors?
Both models accept standard double-edge razor blades. Each razor holds one blade with two usable shaving edges, rather than a multi-blade cartridge.

How should I choose a razor blade?
Blade preference is personal. Your razor, beard and technique all influence how a blade feels. Start with a smaller pack before committing to a larger quantity, and compare the cost per blade rather than the pack price alone.
The sharpest blade is not automatically the right choice for everyone. Look for a combination that cuts comfortably without encouraging you to press harder.
Do I replace the razor or just the blade?
Keep the razor and replace the blade when it becomes dull or starts tugging. Blade life varies with beard growth, shaving frequency and care, so there is no fixed number of shaves that suits everyone.
